La Colombe’s recent rise on the World’s 50 Best is under the new stewardship of British Chef Luke Dale Roberts. Not only has La Colombe been now crowned as the Best Restaurant in South Africa,  it has also shot up to a healthy No.12 on the rankings in 2010.

After a mere 8 months in his new role as Head Chef, La Colombe is ranked within the Top 100 Restaurants of the World as announced by San Pellegrino’s annual World’s Best Restaurants Awards on the 18th April 2011.

With only 3 South African restaurants ranked within the top 100 in the world, the recent achievement is a tremendous feat for Scot. His approach has been confident and swift, not only maintaining the standards of one of the finest restaurants in the world, but steering each to significantly new heights. Patrons of La Colombe have revelled throughout summer in Scot’s delivery of classic signature dishes and his endless array of sublime new inspirations that now form the mainstay of La Colombe’s new À la Carte menu.
